Eyewear Returns & Warranty

We're a small, family-run practice, and every pair of glasses we make is made just for you: your prescription, your measurements, your frame. Because of that, we can't take returns or give refunds on custom-made glasses once your lenses have been ordered or made. What we can promise is that we'll stand behind your glasses and work with you until you're seeing comfortably.

If Your Vision Doesn't Feel Right

New glasses can take a few days, sometimes up to two weeks, to feel natural. If your vision still doesn't feel right after that, please call or text us at 859-216-2660. Dr. Ron Haddad will recheck your prescription at no charge within 60 days of picking up your glasses. If he changes the prescription, we'll remake your lenses one time at no cost to you.

Progressive lenses

Progressives take a little practice. Most people adjust within two weeks of wearing them every day. If you've given them an honest try and still can't adapt, let us know within 60 days of pickup and we'll remake your lenses one time into another lens design, such as a different progressive, bifocals or single-vision lenses, at no additional cost.

Our Warranty

• Frames: covered for one year against manufacturer defects, such as a hinge that fails or a finish that peels with normal use. We file the claim with the manufacturer for you.
• Lenses and coatings: covered for one year against defects, such as a coating that peels or cracks, following our lab's warranty.
• Adjustments and minor repairs: free for life on glasses purchased from us.

Because we don't know how frames from other places were made or how they've been handled, adjusting them carries a real risk of breakage, so we're only able to adjust and repair glasses purchased from us.

Accidental damage, loss, pet damage and scratches aren't defects, so they aren't covered by the free warranty. An optional Eyewear Protection Plan is available in our office for accidental damage; just ask us about it.

Medicaid and Vision Plans

If your glasses were covered by Medicaid or a vision plan, any replacement or remake follows that plan's rules. Many plans allow a replacement pair when glasses are lost or broken or when the prescription changes. We'll check your benefits and take care of the paperwork for you.

Contact Lenses

Unopened, unexpired boxes of contact lenses in their original condition can be returned or exchanged within 30 days of purchase. Opened boxes and custom specialty lenses made for your eyes, including Contacts for Keratoconus and RGP lenses, can't be returned, but we'll work with you on fit and comfort.
